Career story

Nick has spent more than two decades in online gaming, building relationships with high value players and developing the people responsible for managing them. The work has always sat at the join between hospitality and commercial discipline: how a host speaks to a player after a win, after a loss, after a delayed withdrawal, and after the brand has to say no.

Most recently, he led a team of 13 VIP Account Managers serving the South African market. The brief was not only coverage. It was VIP strategy, player retention, team performance, coaching, quality assurance, CRM collaboration, premium gifting and hospitality — the full operating system around high value relationships.

REAL™ grew out of that work. Operators already knew what their VIPs deposited. Too few could say, with evidence, how strong the relationships actually were.

Leadership philosophy

“The best VIP hosts don’t simply manage valuable players. They build relationships people choose to stay for.”

Nick’s view is straightforward. A host represents the brand to the people who matter most. That representation has to be human, competent and responsible. Revenue follows relationship quality. It should not be the only thing a host is measured on, and it should never outrank player welfare.
