Great VIP management is responsible VIP management.
A VIP host’s responsibility is not to encourage maximum play. It is to manage the customer relationship professionally, responsibly and sustainably.
VIP status must never override player welfare, responsible gambling, KYC, affordability requirements, source of funds, or regulatory obligations. High spend is not a licence to look away.
- Recognise when the correct response is not another promotion
- Decline well, without damaging the relationship or breaking the rule
- Treat inactivity as information, not as a funnel to reload
- Keep responsible conversations part of the craft, not an afterthought
